The orange Swiss roll

An easy recipe to share


Ingrédients

  • 4 eggs

  • 100 ml of sugar 

  • 100 ml cornstarch

  • 50 ml of flour

  • 1 packet of yeast​

  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar​

  • 25 ml of very hot water​

Recipe​

Preheat your oven to 200°.​

  1. In a bowl, put the sugar and the egg yolks. Whisk to lighten.​

  2. Add the cornstarch, the flour, the baking powder, the vanilla sugar. Mix well with the water​

  3. Beat the egg whites until stiff​

  4. Mix everything together, gently by folding​

  5. Cover the baking sheet with well-buttered parchment paper and pour the mixture on top​

  6. Put in the oven, hot, for 7 to 10 minutes​

  7. On a damp cloth, turn the cake over and roll it as soon as it comes out of the oven. Wait 5 minutes (the time to choose the jam you want to put inside 😄)

  8. Unroll your cake​

  9. Spread with jam (not too much on the edges so that it doesn’t run), roll up again​

  10. All that's left is to enjoy​
