Ingrédients :
50g of melted butter
30cl of milk
2 tsp of dry baker's yeast (8g)
30g of sugar
500g of flour
1 tsp of salt
1 egg lightly beaten for the glaze
Recipe:
In a mixing bowl, put the flour, the yeast, the sugar, the salt, then mix.
In another bowl, mix the milk and melted butter, then gradually pour into the first bowl. Mix until a smooth batter is obtained.
Let rest for about 1 hour 30 minutes
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Divide the dough into 3 and roll each piece on a lightly floured surface to obtain 3 logs about 45 cm long. Arrange them side by side, seal the ends by pressing the dough, then braid. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, brush the brioche with the beaten egg using a kitchen brush, and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180°C.
