  • 30cl of milk

  • 2 tsp of dry baker's yeast (8g)

  • 30g of sugar

  • 500g of flour

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 1 egg lightly beaten for the glaze

Recipe:

  2. In another bowl, mix the milk and melted butter, then gradually pour into the first bowl. Mix until a smooth batter is obtained.

  3. Let rest for about 1 hour 30 minutes

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Divide the dough into 3 and roll each piece on a lightly floured surface to obtain 3 logs about 45 cm long. Arrange them side by side, seal the ends by pressing the dough, then braid. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C, brush the brioche with the beaten egg using a kitchen brush, and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180°C.
